I have found a new interest. It's Steampunk.  The imagination, creativity and artistry that goes into the making of some of the outfits are just amazing. I hope you will enjoy the pictures from  A-Kon 2011. Not being use to such crowds I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked to. I would have loved to have taken more pohtos of the ones dressed in Steam punk but found myself feeling rather shy and that is not like me.  I think this being the first time I have seen Steam punk in such an amazing display and not really knowing that much about it I felt awkward. Eureka Springs is one of the prettiest little towns we will ever see. It population is only 2,350, but it doesn't lack interest. Charming Victorian home and shops makes this a perfect weekend getaway.  The people you find in Eureka Springs are as charming as the town . Most are colorful and unique and unlike most touristy places you will find the shop owners will take time to chat.  Wanting to know where you are from, how long you will be staying and quick to make suggestion on sites you might enjoy. These here are just a few pictures that I hope will give a feel of this wonderful little town.

I like Street Art what can I say...there is just something about it that draws me to it. Maybe it's the risk factor, knowing that they slip out at night with spray cans, some with stencils and others with stickers or pastes and paper prints.  It's a culture that is unknown to me-- a culture that wants to be heard yet most go unseen. I accidentally click on submit to sell on two of the "Street Art" pictures I took.     I am not looking to sell prints of the street art pictures I have taken but I don't know how to take this off.   The way I see it my photos of Street art are fun but aside from taking the picture I am not the true artiest here.
